Wide-shot camera, surgical light camera above the field, remote camera on a stand. All controlled from the gallery, with nobody inside the sterile field.

Broadcast mixer, multiviewer monitoring, on-screen titles and diagrams. A director picks live whichever shot best explains the step under way.

Two-way audio link
Radio mics for the surgeon and the scrub nurse, return feed into the theatre from the hall. The surgeon hears the questions without leaving the operative field.
