Why 3D?

Beyond the technical feat and the spectacle, depth has real teaching value: it restores the depth of the field and the exact position of the instruments. THE 3D CHAIN

From capture to projection.

Every link has been worked out separately. In 3D, one weakness anywhere in the chain and the depth becomes uncomfortable to watch.

Stereoscopic rig

Two sensors aligned to the millimetre, interocular distance set according to the distance to the field. A misalignment invisible to the naked eye is enough to cause eye strain in the hall.

Control room and convergence

Real-time convergence correction, disparity budget control, mixing with 2D sources. The depth is adjusted live according to what the surgeon is doing.

Stereoscopic projection

3D projectors, a screen with the right gain and passive glasses for the whole room. We supply and install everything, glasses included.

What 3D won't forgive.

In 2D, an approximation goes unnoticed. In stereo, it causes physical discomfort for the viewer. Eight points checked before every broadcast.
